[b]Blackflame Friede[/b] A nun that lives barefoot in the Painted World of Ariandel. Yuria's older sister and one of the founding members of the Sable Church of Londor. She spends her days next to her daddy Ariandel, who is tied to a chair, in the basement, in front of a bowl... getting whipped- [b]anyways[/b] Standing guard to the church is a Friede simp. Yes, Friede gave this simp her sword before she left, and then fired him... [i]and he followed her anyways[/i]. He probably doesn't know what's happening inside... Actually he probably does... what a cu- [i](She also has a second basement with a f ton of bugs and it's really disgusting they need that cleaned out...)[/i] I do love this boss though. Cool af entrance, uses twin scythes, edge walks on you, tells you to go home when you die, doesn't even bother with shoes, jumps behind you like it's nothing personal, [i]kid[/i]. The music, the phases. What a legend, [i]shame she had to die.[/i] -- So I'll start with, [i]I painted over this[/i]. I did not eyeball anything this time, I traced over a layer. That's actually how I got the colors too. My goal here was to change the style of the picture. (Really I just wanted to paint over and see how the coloring worked, maybe learn something, but then it looked interesting so I touched it up, not sure what I learned) I've reworked this a number of times, but my favorite bit has always been that left side. The back wall was a bit iffy, and the right wall had been mostly black squiggles until the last two days. I'm happy with the pillars though. Before it was black lines over color, now it's pure color. Friede was hard to match the style with, cause 1) low af resolution picture, and I think it was when she's in the middle of jumping too... so that messed me up cause I thought she was walking this whole time. And I can't find a better one cause that picture is very situational. 2) I keep wanting to draw everything minute and accurate, but the style calls for a bit of a abstract mess, less small details yknow? So I struggles on that, eventually just made it lighter than the background which really makes it's stand out, and not in the best way Now, I didn't crop it completely because I wanted it to look like a painting Cause this takes place in a painting. The Painted World of Ariandel But, in the end I'm glad I did this. It was fun and different from the type of copying I already do. I actually had another sketch thing, but I keep feeling like I should color it, but I don't want to... we'll see. [spoiler]Ive had this under works for months.
