On a warm evening in OffTopic reports come in about a bike theft and illegal racing through the streets. It’s a typical underground activity at this time, but the reports mention something about melted street posts.
On the same note, radio chatter spikes about a racer on a winning streak near the winding roads next to the docks, as well as some money involved.
Note: Trying something a bit different here by adding the Plot Point system(which comes from the D&D 5e DM’s Guide p.269). You have one Plot Point for this adventure, and you can use it at any time to add some element to the setting or situation that becomes real. Examples include: spending a plot point to find a secret door, an NPC appears, or a monster turns out to be a long lost ally polymorphed into a beast. Essentially, you can throw in something of your choosing, but only one, so choose wisely. Side-sidenote: I’ll try to be accomodating, but if the Plot Point seriously modifies something that can’t be changed(like the two main npcs of this adventure) you’ll be allowed to redo it.
