If it did, we would be doing this with every single Guardian that has ever permadied if we weren't already. Heck, Omar could've had a new body this way. This DLC would also invalidate almost all of the Forsaken storyline, and we don't need (more) large retcons in the game. I don't want Cayde back because not only would it invalidate Forsaken, but I rather not have Bungie repeat the clownish act that he's shown throughout the Red War and during Last Call as it felt like he was trying to be funny just for the sake of it.
