Ok so ill start by saying im obviously biased on sweet business. I love that gun. However it has one of the problems that loads of other exotic primaries have. Mainly, they are not powerful enough to use in high end PvE content. I have successfully used the Sweet Business in raids and have done all Grandmaster Nightfalls using it, however against champions and especially against bosses of any kind it is absolutely lacking in damage output. Here is my idea make the current reduced flinch when fully spun up intrinsic catalyst rework: every 2 seconds (can even reduce to 1 second) of SUSTAINED fire without missing adds a stacking damage bonus (think swashbuckler) stacks up to 3 times. Reloading, missing more than 5 bullets or switching targets resets all stacks. For a gun that is meant for killing everything in front of you with a hail of bullets, why not help it do just that on stronger targets. It fits the narrative of the weapon. The changes ive proposed would give it much more viability on champions, bosses, and other bullet sponges with the added benefit of NOT breaking the crucible. Sweet business is already great in crucible. It might not be the best, but its certainly very good already and doesnt need any help. thoughts? comments? Ps: please dont flame, just trying to have a discussion about my much beloved weapon. Bump! This isnt just a Sweet Business issue. When was the last time you tried using Last Word in a grandmaster? Im not saying it is impossible to do however far too many exotic primaries (white ammo bricks) are severely lack lustre in the highest PvE content. With Bungie saying they have ideas on how to fix that very issue, why not have the very people who love the game they have created give them their honest ideas to fix it. Im not saying inject major power creep with severely overpowered perks/changes. If however you are like me and have an honest idea to address exotic primaries being pushed to the side in high end PvE content including but not limited to all master level content, grandmaster level content, normal and master raid encounters then feel free to add it here! and dont forget my baby, the sweet business...
