So my brother is building a PC and had a friend help out who had "built" one himself - Well somehow they managed to bend a pin on the motherboard and get thermal paste on the contact side of the cpu. It wouldnt post because of the bent pin, since it just happened to be the pin area that deals with ram functions (plus boot screen said ths RAM was malfunctioning, though we tried three different types). Im worried that the cpu could be -blam!-ed up, but the diagnostics screen says its fine, so not sure if cleaning it is wortb the hastle of possibly messing something else up. I know 91% isopropyl is recommended, and luckily we used non-conductive paste, but don't trust using a cotton pad or a q-tips because of the loose cotton.
Picture is attatched - any advice is appreciated
