[spoiler]Part of my What If series where I change major events in Destiny so they play out differently [/spoiler] “I looked out over the Last City and sighed. A Guardian had somehow got his Light back and was coming to try and stop me. I knew there was nothing he could do. The Traveler was going to choose me and I would be unstoppable. Nobody would ever question the Cabal again. I chuckled as I remembered one of the last things the Speaker said to me. ‘And sacrifice leads to death. So why don’t you kill yourself.’ He quite honestly amused me. Too bad I had to kill him. That’s when one of my Brachus’s came in. She told me that the Guardian had arrived on my ship. I don’t know how he got here so fast. I knew there was no time to wait for the Traveler to choose me. Turns out my Consul was right. Shame I had to kill him.” “‘Fire up the machine!’ I yelled as I got to deck of my ship. ‘If the Traveler isn’t gonna choose me, I’ll just take the Light from it!’ As soon as I felt the Light enter me, I knew I was unstoppable. I could finally do whatever I wanted. That’s when the Guardian showed up. I knew he didn’t stand a chance. Surprisingly, he was tougher than I thought. It got to the point where I was scared. Turns out taking away something held dear to someone makes them a force to be reckoned with. That’s when I remembered what the Speaker said. So, I let the Guardian kill me.” “Five seconds later, I was a god. Who needed to take over planets when I could take over the entire universe. The Traveler had finally recognized me. It looked like it was gonna try and stop me. But I was prepared. Being a god meant I could do whatever I wanted. So I drained the Traveler of its Light. I turned back to the now Lightless Guardian as the Traveler crashed to the ground behind me, wiping out most of the City. All I had to do was think him away. He would be causing no more trouble. The only question is, what do I do now?” [spoiler]Hey guys. Thanks for all the support. It seems like you really enjoy these. I may start continuing my stories to show what happens as a consequence to what I wrote (like what is gonna happen since Uldren got set free). I will also keep making these main “what if” stories.
