I really enjoy using Last Word, from its feel to the badass ornaments it has, (I adore Laconic) it sits at the top of my list of favorite handcannons and kicks ass in PVP. I'm sure at least one person out there agrees with me. Unfortunately, it isn't all that great, if not completely useless, in PVE. I mean using it in even mid level content (which is where most the fun is) will have your teammates questioning whether or not you actually know what you're doing (I know from experience.) I was thinking to myself what might make this weapon decent to use in PVE but not break it in PVP. Though I may be totally wrong about the PVP side of things. So hear me out, what if upon acquiring its catalyst, Last Word remained totally unchanged while being fired from the hip, but while being used while aiming down sights it behaved much more like a 140 or even 120 rpm HC with some more range, better recoil, and maybe (though this is a bit of a stretch) even a small increase in damage. Basically, no more Fan-Fire. [ONLY WHILE ADS] To me this makes it better for PVE as you don't have to reload twice to kill one enemy that's just a tad bit out of range while also making it more forgiving in PVP by adding some flexibility for different situations in a gun fight. Essentially it's like a reverse Dead Man's Tale catalyst. Maybe this is all just some overly wishful thinking but I'd like to know how other people feel about this. Is it a bad idea, or could this actually help the gun have more use across various content? I'm sure I can't be the only Last Word user who sees the appeal in this concept.

The only thing I would give last word is something like subsistence where getting kills refills your ammo from reserves. I love last word but I hate the constant amount of times I have to reload with it, it makes it difficult to get multikills.
