I don't trust anyone, not anymore. Except maybe ghosts, which is kinda weird. Last person I trusted tried to kill me. They werem't even an enemy, Just another guardian. The two of us were investigating a secret Awoken base in the Dreaming city. Petra told us that the facility was like the Prison of Elders. But instead of making things fight, they studied the creatures. Dregs, Legionaries, Acolytes, Goblins. Everything you could want for an alien. Even a cage of pure darkness. Which should be impossible, which makes me think the Awoken practice master level magic. My friend, named Dredgen Yor, went by to check it out. That was the thing that breached containment. No wonder. He was consumed by it, not to die though, he was the host. He was the darkness at that point. He came back over and said it fled. Then five minutes later, he tried to shoot my ghost. He didnt do it, of course. But he almost hit it. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled to him. "Eradicating the light." An unfamiliar voice replied. I knew it was the darkness. I knew he couldn't come back. His ghost had to follow him to death. So I tired to destroy his ghost. I failed, so I fled. There might be no way of stopping him. But I tried, that's why i trust no one.
