But why?
You have crimson, that is basically what red death was. If they rework it, "its not red death anymore". If they dont, it becomes useless because we already have that gun, just in a different archetype.

I'd be fine with it because of the seasonal artifacts champion mods. Last season we had a pulse rifle mod and this season a hand cannon mod. To me that makes it possible for 2 similar weapons to exist if they're different weapon types.
