All this waiting in suspense every new dlc hoping pvp will get worked on is exhausting. If you have no intention on putting effort into pvp just say it and be done with it. I’m starting to wonder if you are concerned about losing the pvp player base if you guys have given up on it.
1. No new maps in 500+ days. Add more maps
2. Competitive crucible is useless
3. No titles or weapons to chase in competitive.
4. Certain subclasses rendered useless like Burning Maul, Nova warp, and now Behemoth
5. SBMM gone
6. Crucible full of brain dead idiots. The mode needs to focus heavily on capturing zones.
7. Clash and Mayhem should be permanent modes available at all times. Bring back rift, and combined arms.
8. Put Trials of the nine weapons in competitive for the mean time.
Let’s start there Bungie.

I'm sure they know what they could do at this point, it's a matter of weighing whether or not it's worth it. Surely most people treat the Crucible as a means to an end, not there for the actual experience. Low population screams terrible experience when only serious people are the ones consistently playing. People love scapegoating CBMM without looking at the bigger picture of the situation that Destiny has a terrible PvP and lots of people don't want to play it. People constantly complain over having to do anything in it even if it's the bare freaking minimum. MM is doing what it can, but PvP sucks and it can't change that, no sense that a complete 180 again will magically bring people in. They'll do what they reasonably can to keep it from being completely unplayable. The complainers about Stasis finally got what they asked for. It makes sense too because giving people the ability to freeze each other is obnoxious. Ever hear of the Conclave? It lacked any necessary reason to play, and as such, no one really played it. It wasn't exactly a great PvP experience due to the mechanics of the game itself not really suiting a PvP environment, even with a unique sandbox. The ones that still play are the dedicated and reside on a discord server because it's so empty that matchmaking is hopeless. Thankfully for them, they can still get rewards while doing so unlike a Private match here would.
