I play Destiny 2 in Korean, so I didn't realize that during this week's main quest, Laksmi-2 actually hummed or sang (in tune) the song people were singing in the Tower. In the Korean dubbing version, she just read the lyrics out loud without any tunes. I later found out on Youtube that Laksmi sings this to the tune of Savathûn's song in the English version and was quite shocked and disappointed that this crucial bit of detail/information was lost.
It is clear that Bungie wanted people to know that Savathûn's influence was creeping into the City, and this is a clear build up for not only the seasonal story but the next expansion, The Witch Queen. It's really a shame because this was so well built up.
I hope that for other region voice overs important details like this won't get lost in the future. It really creates a huge difference in player experience. :(

Edited by GalaxySpider: 6/4/2021 10:22:35 AMSame in the german version I'm playing. The german voice actor just reads the line and done. I guess no one told the other voice actors that this is supposed to be a melody.
