However, there are a few things you need to in order to reach 100k points. I wanted to outline these things here.
As a general rule: take it slow and kill everything.
This is very important. There are a few encounters where you can cause enemies to despawn when you progres too far. I've seen a lot of people make that mistake.
We start with the area you first spawn in. You can actually earn points here.
A good course of action here is to have two players progress as normal. They defeat the Vex near the Conflux and the Cabal that rush there.
The third player however, should take to the right side of the regular path and kill the Fallen there. There's usually a Servitor with a Void Shield and some Shanks, Dregs and Vandals. Once you've defeated them, you can go up to the left and kill a few more Fallen there. All these respawn, so the third player should continue until the other two have progressed onto the next area. You will be pulled via teleport.
In the next area it is important to notice that there are two Cabal Champions, a Barrier Colossus and a Unstoppable Incendior, below the platforms where that Blood Guard Centurion and the Vex spawn. You need those for 100k and Platinum.
These do not despawn, so two players can go ahead if these Champions haven't been defeated by the time all Vex are dead.
The following area is the area with the huge chasm where players usually drive through with their Sparrow.
Do not drive ahead.
Driving ahead to the area with the Guards will cause all enemies in the Sparrow part to despawn. You need these points and it will probably only take you a minute.
The rest of the area is played as normal. Note that enemies on the drill can despawn if you reach 100% Progress before killing everything.
Now we get to the lower drill. You should not drive ahead here either, as it will cause all enemies to despawn once you reach the boss area that follows.
There's also a Barrier Hobgoblin here, usually in the second part of the middle part. You will need to defeat it to get Platinum.
Once you have cleared all, you get to the final boss area.
The boss follows the concept we have established throughout the Strike. Take it slow, kill everything. Don't melt Protheon.
The best course here is to use Primaries and focus any adds that spawn in. In the first part of the fight you get several waves of Harpies worth several thousand points.
Always focus these and stop damaging the boss. Adds despawn as soon as the Boss teleports to the next part.
Same applies on Stage Two. After a bit of damage a wave of Goblins and Hobgoblins spawn in around the plate where the Protheon stands. Clear the wave, then continue damaging the boss.
The final part also follows this. Damage the boss a bit, clear whatever spawns in. Once you're very close or above the 100k, you can use your Supers to defeat Protheon.
This should get you your 100k Points Pinnacle drop.
Hope this helps!
EDIT: to throw in my personal loadout for this Strike:
Ignition Code Primary GL, with Breach and Clear Artifact Mod on the Class Item
Any Energy Scout Rifle with Anti-Barrier Mod (I use the VoG Scout)
Leviathan's Breath
-
Or just use lfg.
-
Long story short, you can easily 2 man legend and get over 100k easily.
-
This is the first ninja post I've seen pointing out something helpful. Hats off to you.
-
I just run withhoard vision of confluence with disruption break and corrective measures for void shields it went smoothly
-
Thanks for reminding me to duo the legend or master level so I don't have to worry about what others want.
-
My loadout was: Ignition Code, Trustee and Anarchy with Breach an Clear. We managed the 100k as a team of two on 1310 very easily. The boss is even one-phase with the Mod + Bubble or Tether and a Nova.
-
So what you are saying is I should speedrun Hero Nightfalls to get the Seasonal Challenge done faster?
-
What's the weapon this week?
-
Don't worry. If last week is any indication, everyone is just going to run to the boss and burn him in thirty seconds.

Edited by optimuschase: 6/3/2021 12:04:41 AMThere is no way a match made team will kill all the champions in this one. I run a fair amount of these and while some of the out of the way targets get killed, the one on the drill ledge gets past over almost every time. If not that one, one of the others. Best LFG with a team that gets what you are saying if you want 100k, otherwise, be a decent human being and don't give a crap. Edit: I like the word one so much, I've decided solo legend may be best.
-
I did something like 7 matchmade nightfalls last night. I asked in chat every single time to not skip mobs and don't melt the boss. I was ignored. Me and a friend have been running more nf's today. Every single time we have both asked in chat the same things. Every single time we have been ignored. Your post like this is appreciated. But this community as a whole seems to be severely lacking in braincells. Melting the boss when you are on 95k score, because killing a few adds might be wasting a whole 60 seconds of someone else's time. STOP MELTING THE BOSS AND LET THE MOBS SPAWN..... PLEASE!
-
If your that bothered you can easily solo it for the 100k
-
How people can't figure this out for themselves is honestly beyond me. And for the people that do and still nuke, talk about not being courteous. Now luckily Spire is a joke solo Legend. Like a ridiculous joke. I did it, was not even remotely threatened at all at any point, got done in 17 minutes, no deaths. Was just vibing while half asleep. Honestly, think I can solo this on Master with no or only very little issue.
-
Just do 1340 NF. It's easy and you'll get 100k halfway thru the strike
-
Pretty sure you can 100k every nightfall if you are paired with players that give a crap. Most don’t, which sucks so it’s LFG for me if I want to get this done.
-
Ah nice. The first two groups I matched with skilled enemies when they hopped on their sparrows and got to the next guards. There was a barrier and overload here iirc that both despawned along with some other trash mobs. Hopefully I can get it on my third run through.
-
Thanks for the help info, Seraphim. Random question if you happen to see it, how do you like Leviathan's Breath now? I haven't given it a go in quite a while. I'm curious were you feel it shines.
-
Thanks for advice. It's two weeks in a row now with 100k possible at Hero Level.
-
You can get 100k in nightfalls every week.
-
Edited by Gibbon, the Ape Defector: 6/2/2021 2:56:13 PMI mean yeah but this one is massively easy, I nearly got 100k solo in 1310 on my first run but I just need less wipes next time
-
Uhhh the last time I did this NF Legend was enough........you just can't rush it.
-
Or just literally do a 1310 and get an easy 100k. It's not brain surgery.
-
Titan tip: run Throne-Yeeter with “that one mod” for double damage on your heavy attack.
It can leave anti-barrier champs low enough to be killed with a finisher, and unstoppables I think can be OHKO when stunned (I used the void melee unstoppable mod for this).
-
It's the same as last week. Just keep the boss alive and enough ads will spawn.

Excellent, helpful post. Good work. 🖖
