A better way to deal with so many excess mod components
Currently I'm sitting on 5 full stacks (plus another 3/4 stack) of mod components. This is after I already deleted 4 full stacks which took about 4 hours to do with a macro. This is pretty ridiculous that the only thing that can be done with these things is to buy mods with them or dismantle them. What's even more ridiculous is that it takes so long to dismantle them (4s). By my calculations, it would take me more than 5 and a half hours to dismantle these stacks of mod components with a macro set to hold "F" for 4 seconds, wait 50 ms and repeat until they're all gone. Math below:
Time to dismantle (4s) + Time in between each dismantle (50ms):
( (4 sec * 5,000 mod components) + ((5,000 - 1) * 0.05) ) = 20,249.95
Converted to hours:
20,249.95 / 60 / 60 = 5.6249861
That's 5.6+ hours just to dismantle mod components that I no longer need!
My suggestions are as follows:
* Allow us to turn these in to Banshee-44 for reputation
* Allow us to dismantle these in .5 seconds
* Allow us to exchange these at Spider for something that rotates, such as cores, shards, glimmer, materials, what-have-you
Please, just let us do something with these other than wait to use 6 or 8 of them each season and that's it. The rest of the time, they just accumulate and take up space.
