I understand there are others who probably have more clears than me, to which this post is also for them as well.
I have 62 clears in DSC and not once has Eyes dropped for me. What, The, HECK is going on with your drop rate?!? How many clears does it take to till the so called "Bad Luck Protection" kicks in? Contrary to my tone right now I enjoy playing this game with my friends, but we are very soon coming to a point and time where I will not have anyone to run this raid with because everyone will have moved on to VoG or other newer content. Can you explain to me what my current drop chance is at 62 clears? At what point is the drop rate 100% like you stated in your TWAB? Could you perhaps put the Eyes to be purchased in the end chest for the raid so if someone has the spoils they could possibly have a clear finish line for them to get this? Perhaps post the drop rates for this weapons since there has been an issue with its drop rate in the past so others can see what it will take to get this weapon? Maybe the fix is not currently working as intended, as no one on my friends list even those who have had it multiple time, some up to five times, has had it drop since the "fix" you implemented. Some clarification on what is going on would be GREATLY appreciated.
Edit: For anyone who comes across this post, point of note the user Steve 0f Steves will no longer be responded to as he has been reported for breaking number 12 of Bungies Code of conduct, Contributions made with the sole intent of antagonizing users or disrupting the conversation.
Further discussion of this topic, giving feedback to bungie, and commiseration at the abysmal drop rate of a highly sought after weapon is still welcome and looked for. In making this post it was known Bungie would not respond to this directly, but at the very least could serve as a record, that there is an issue still with the current drop rate, and to foster possible fixes, or better understanding by offering chances for communication with the player base which is what Bungie intended this forum to be.
Pass your own judgement on posts as you will.

On one hand I love the idea of legendary items that only a few people ever get to wield, similar to thunderfury or the war glaives from WoW. On the other hand bungies philosophy with exotics is that everyone should eventually get all of them. Which really makes you wonder, is eyes of tomorrow an exception to the rule and fit into category one? I would assume it it. Hear me out, the vex mythoclast had this issue in D1 and they saw it as problematic enough to make the next raid exotic a quest that had a lot less RNG. They continued this for the taken king. Divinity is a quest with no RNG, you just do it. I don't know anything about any other raid exotics from D2 as I just started. That does not matter tho, as they found the formula in D1 for making exotics. If you want everyone to get the exotic you need to make it a quest with very few RNG parts. If you want that elusive item that only the lucky few in the community will have, you make it a drop. Eyes is a drop, yes? This means that the idea is for it to be rare, the only problem is that they are scared to tell the community "yes, some of you will never get it, we designed it that way"
