Stasis can be good without freezing or slowing in PvP

The stasis subclasses have made a lot of people miserable, to the point where it is driving away dedicated players from the game. I don't think taking them out of PvP all together is a good solution, but frankly freeze and slow have no place in PvP. The issue with stasis is that it is an anti-fun mechanic. Why should I play my favorite class of nova warp, when a single hunter melee can kill my super? A bouncing tracking slow can stop all my movement making me a sitting duck with no range. Stasis ruins other subclasses. But, stasis does not need to freeze or slow to be good. 1. GERNADES- Make abilities do decent damage. If coldsnap did like 60-80 damage and tracked around corners it would be an okay gernade with no freeze. Dusk field could be similar to solar or vortex gernades. And if crystals shatter on contact they'd be pretty strong. If we want to get extra spicy, make stasis give minor movement speed buffs to players on ability hit but with less damage to make it feel different than light subclasses. 2. MELEE- Hunter melee is fine, maybe a small damage buff, but even without slow it's one of the better melee abilities in the game. Make the warlock stasis melee do ~100 damage on hit, it's lower range than celestial fire with less tracking, but one big burst of damage would be pretty okay. Titan melee is already more than fine without slow, no changes needed. 3. SUPERS- The only area where freeze/ slow feels essential is the supers, maybe leave them since supers only happen a few times a game anyway. Alternatively they slow but not freeze, hunter would be fine is slow capped out at 10. Warlock could detonate slowed targets, and might be a little weak without freezing, but it could get armor or speed buffed it really felt like an issue. Crystals would shatter on contact which would make up for the loss of freezing for titan. Even without freezing/ slowing stasis has the potential to be some of the strongest classes in the game. And having them be strong is fine, but not at the expense of ruining other classes that cannot do anything against stasis. Obviously dev work is harder than making this post, but the point is slowing and freezing are anti-fun mechanics, and stasis has the potential to be good in PvP without them.
