I understand why next-Gen and past-Gen consoles are mostly separated during matchmaking (specifically with crucible). However, due to console scarcity, this negatively affects next-gen console users with slow matchmaking and very small player populations.
With the news coming out showing that the Ps5 shortage is likely to continue into 2022, Bungie should address this instead of leaving their next Gen customers stuck with longer wait times and badly balanced or repetitive matches.
I don't know what the best solution is, but leaving it as it is would definitely *not* be the best solution.

I’ve felt it in gambit the most. I just hate that we can’t use the app I haven’t done so much because I hate discord but even when I do I can’t get into a group. The inv system for the app needs to get fixed or just add matchmaking for everything except raids.

It must be also tied to region as I've had a ps5 since launch and had zero matchmaking issues.

I havent noticed any difference since I got my PS5.

Iam gonna need some citation on bungie having match making seperated for ps4 and ps5. I have no experience of longer match making since i got my ps5 or any other gamemode with matchmaking.

Was about to downvote for owning a ps5, but since I have one coming in the next week, I will restrain myself.

Should’ve just bought a pc with that money

Yep it's bullshit I just got matched against the same team 5/6 times. Pretty much all my matches tonight were against bongos beloved cheaters. Bungie only cares about selling you a new dress from eververse apparently so nothing will change.
