Eyes of Tomorrow Part 2
So, I ran Deep Stone Crypt last night. We didn't do the Red Rover challenge, we did 1 full raid. One of my buddies and I grabbed checkpoints, then we ran the boss CP 2 times. To my surprise (sarcasm), I still haven't received Eyes of Tomorrow. That's about 37-40 lootable clears now.
I know there are a lot more people out there struggling to get this gun and people who have many many more lootable clears than I do and still haven't received it. I think something else should be done here, Bungie. I've raided the entire season and still don't have the gun and it's quite literally the only thing I need for descendant.
It's frustrating at this point. So much so that I've decided to make a forum post every week after completing and NOT getting Eyes of Tomorrow. Sounds petty, but maybe if the forums have more Eyes of Tomorrow posts, Bungie will do something else about it. I also kind of doubt it, but screw it.

3 RepliesYou and me both buddy. I've done 3 raids every week since the release of the raid and I've not had a single drop. I think I'm at 71 looted clears now i think? Maybe more if i cannot math today. I honestly think it's either bad RNG or our profiles have a bug so we cannot get it. Maybe when they did the merge of the completions to fix the previous issue caused another one for some people. Merging 12 | NULL | 0 results in NULL but hey, i wouldn't put it past bungie making a mistake.

Just finished my 69th lootable clear and am getting pretty bummed out about this. Wondering if there’s just something wrong with some people’s account because I’ve never even seen anyone get Eyes in person... in 69 CLEARS. The raid isn’t fun anymore because it has become a lame part of my week that puts my in a bad mood. Time investment = nothing in the hunt for this weapon.

I am with you man, 3 clears per week for two full season and nothing ... thats around 70 looted clears. I dont think Bad luck protection works, it should be guaranteed after like 40-50 clears.

I finally got it after my 61st looted run, 89 clear total. I don't care about the RL. I just wanted the god damn title. When I saw the yellow exotic engram. I said in the most boring mouse like voice "I got it.' Literally no excitement from it. I had all of the triumphs completed a long time ago. Damn near all of my clan mates had it drop multiple times for them and didn't even care about the Seal/Title and had it almost right away. I

I believe, I have done every looted clear across 3 characters since launch (need 2 more this week but I am not stressing it at this point). I have over 90 clears and still don't have it. I am very much a proponent of RNG and just letting things be. However, if there is protection, I wish more information could be disclosed about how it works. And If it really is a small amount of increased chance you get per week, per character, then I would like additional clears done each week to increase the drop rate even if you're not getting standard loot drops from it. At 90+ clears, my guess is I should be above 30% drop chance. So when I do the raid on all of my characters, it seems very unlikely that I don't get it but here we are lol. I'm not mad about it but I really would like to know exactly how this works. It also took my a long time compared with my clan to get A Thousand Voices but I am now at double the completions I had by the time I got 1K Voices (~40 clears). I'm just happy my clanmate finally got his, he had ~4 less clears than I did and got his last week. We have another friend with above 90 clears also missing EoT. This seems unusual and I'm not sure that last patch actually did anything.

You may just have bad luck in general. I had the exotic after 4 runs, a second one dropped at 10 run and third one 18th and then a fourth one fo me dropped somewhere in my 30-40ish clears. I had the seal done by the time I got my second rocket launcher. As of today I have done by final run of DSC, which is my 69th. (inside clan joke). Could just be very unlucky

So, last week after 45th looted clear I went looking for answers/suggestions and came across a short reddit post where a guardian was told to unplug his console for 30 seconds. He did so and got Eyes on his next clear. It sounds absolutely stupid, but last night after I got just a helmet out of chest 46 I immediately unplugged my Xbox, got logged back in and had it drop on chest 48. It doesn't make any sense but I was willing to try anything (within reason). Good luck

I also have about 60 clears without getting this gun. Most redicilous thing is that BUNGO says nbothing about this issue !!
