Hello!
I was wondering if tweaking LOD Bias settings was seen as a bannable offence in Destiny 2? I see no real competitive advantage and the game does allow you to customise graphics and rendering settings on the client end. I was looking into making a youtube video on this topic and wanted to double check that everything is perfectly ok before doing so. From what I understand, it is no different to using any form of Nvidia 3D rendering assistance or game filters.
A linked site explaining what exactly is being changed, from what I understand you're changing the way your PC renders the game lower than the "lowest quality in game options" to maximise performance.
The tool is called "NVIDIA Inspector" and I think having this question answered would help many PC gamers with lower-end hardware!
I don't see any real issue but once again I just wanted to check that it is fine, before trying it out.
Thanks for reading,
Benny.

Any outside tool that manipulates in game performance can be bannable so I wouldn’t recommend it. Also nvidia inspector only reads all relevant date from the gpu not changing graphics within the game

Probably not a good idea. Bungie.net/ban
Bungie regards some behavior to be in breach of the Code of Conduct or the license agreement that governs Destiny, and therefore may be restricted or banned from some or all Destiny content or activities. This behavior includes, but is not limited to : Connecting to the Destiny game service with any of the following: Modified game software Modified game assets Modified hardware Modified console firmware Modified operating system files including emulators and virtual machines Using an external program to modify or analyze the operation of the Destiny game software, such as: Trainers, mods, cheats, aimbots, or autofire. User mode or kernel debuggers Graphics hacks Sending malicious network traffic to Destiny servers or other Destiny players
