I know many think this is okay to extend the content life of a dlc or a season or whatever, some feel its blocking players from being able to do stuff in their own time. Both are valid arguments. I have with Season of the Chosen first hand experience now with the faults of time gated content. I didn't go crazy this season with the grind and even took weeks at a time off the game. Don't get me wrong I still like the game and Destiny as a franchise but this experience sucks as a person that tries to get seals completed (at least on the pve side of the game pvp is not my friend (-:).
So basically the lesson I have learned is keep up with important events pertaining to seals because a triumph that is time gated ie this season and the presage quest requiring to get all collectibles which is a 3 week process is now out of my grasp because I didn't know about that detail. This is my fault for not keeping tuned into the happenings of the game this season more but wow what a gut punch when you realize you can't complete something because of a time lock.

The Title will still be available to complete after this season ends, you will just have missed the deadline to purchase a physical pin for the Seal.
