Real talk, literally ever since Bungie bought out its free to try model this game has gone down hill and had more and more shady practices implemented. Honestly now, can anyone tell me what destiny has benefited from, from the f2p player base? Even if destiny went completely f2p it would still not mean good news for the future of the game. So, even though I know it won't happen, I feel that one of the best things for this game would be to either remove f2p all together OR heavily separate the difference / benefits paying customers receivie.
