This is hard. Plague Knight has my favorite gameplay, so I really want to vote him. But, he reuses Shovel Knight’s levels, and those levels just are not built for him. Because of that I think I’d have to say King Knight. I loved the card game, and I prefer the many short levels to the few long ones. Plus it has arguably the best joke in the game; you can talk to the lady who normally lets you buy any wisps Spectre Knight missed, and she’ll point out how many extra wisps she has and say; “Look at all these wisps Specty missed. I guess he wasn’t being very meticulous.”. Not to mention that amazing secret boss.

Sadly I have only been able to play the first two campaigns. Shovel of Hope would win out.
