Speaker: Ikora, I found a strange Guardian in our midst.
Ikora: Strange? What do you mean, strange?
Speaker: His light is different… he's a long way from home.
Cayde-6: Ooh, time travelers! Sure it isn't just Osiris?
Ikora: Don't be silly. Osiris doesn't have that kind of power.
Speaker: Osiris is very concerned. He's not telling me something…
Zavala: Bring him in. I want to meet this Guardian.
Speaker: That's the thing… we can't find him. Anywhere.

We take a stealthy route, as Silva calls it. The Vanguard has released a notice looking for me and Coldblood. A meeting with the Vanguard is… less than desired.
It didn't take long to find Xûr. He was at the hangar, at the back corner, almost hiding, like a coward.
He raises his head when he sees us coming, although it's hard to tell who he's looking at more. Me, Silva or Coldblood.
"Welcome Timekeeper. I thought you'd never come." He says with a strange accent.
He turns his head slightly so I can tell he's looking at my sister. His eyes glow with curiosity.
"They really did it…" he says to himself more than to us. He seems lost in a trance.
"Did what? What are the IX doing? Tell them to back off, I already have the Speaker, Osiris and the damn Vanguard on to me."
Xûr watches me. Suddenly in one quick motion he raises his hand to my head. "Tell them yourself."
And then I'm falling through a sea of darkness and light. It's chaotic, but also almost peaceful. I fall endlessly until I can't fall anymore.
I crash to ground hard, and my bones ache. After a quick check they're gladly not broken. "Silva? Coldblood?" Neither are here. Guess I'm on my own.
I'm in a white desert. Blue sky, a different shade than our own. In front of me are white pyramids upside down, levitating above me. Time to turn on those thief instincts.
I jump up three, and the third one tilts nearly throwing me off. I jump to the fourth and fall through, back on to the second.
Now they're just playing with me.
In a few quick jumps I make it to the rest of the way. I grin, "Is that the best you can do?" Until I realize I shouldn't antagonize them.
The world fades to a different scene.
I'm in a white room, with no windows or doors. Instinctively my hand lowers to my gun, in preparation. Suddenly hundreds of Fallen materialize around me and before I know it I'm already shooting back.
I dive behind a pillar, and reload. I pull out Twilight, and charge it up, and when I fire the room explodes.
I get up, and remember, don't fire large explosions in an enclosed space.
The Fallen are dead around me, their other flowing through the air. Again the world fades.
Next I find myself in a different room. A door stands in front of me, with two stone statues on either side. A hole appears in the floor but I can't see the bottom.
I walk straight at the door and the statues draw their swords nearly impaling me. I pull out my gun but it doesn't make a mark.
Not going to get through the door. I look at my other option. The pit goes down farther than I can see. If I am wrong then I will die, and Coldblood isn't here to revive me.
I close my eyes and jump forward as I fall down through the pit. The fall is dark, and after a few minutes I see light at the bottom. When I fall it doesn't hurt.
When I stand, a doorway stands in front of me. Three symbols glow in a perfect line. I know what I need to do.
"IX" I say as the door opens.
Time to have a meeting with the Nine.
//SIGNAL LOST//LOCATION: UNKNOWN//
VI: Xûr has sent him into the Trials.
IV: If he doesn't pass them, he will not deserve an audience with us.
II: He will come…
IX: And the Eye will be ours.
