Constant Anteater Codes - Can't Complete Grand Master - PC/STEAM
I know there is a ton of bungie help pages on this topic, but I have tried every single one of the suggestions with no luck. Ever since Beyond Light released I have had frequent Anteater code issues. Typically this is annoying, but not game breaking, I get an anteater then get reconnected dead with no special or heavy ammo, get revived, move on with my life. However, this issue is preventing me from completing content in the game such as Grand Masters. I ran 5 GM's yesterday and got an anteater in all 5 of them, sent straight back to orbit and leaving my team stranded.
Before you go down the typical "blame your internet" path:
- I am on a wired connection
- Frequently reset my router before I attempt GM's
- I have contacted my ISP 3 times to do stability tests with no issues
- No issues in any other games, and no disconnect from discord voice comms when I get these errors
- NEVER had issues before Beyond Light, and i've been playing destiny for years
If anyone has any suggestions that do not include looking at the bungie help page, please share as i am at my wits end here. At the very least I think it is worth re-enabling the ability to join your fireteam if you get disconnected in the middle of a GM as long as you haven't adjusted your load out.

So sick of be coded. It’s getting to the point that I’m about to say that’s all. A d1 beta player. I truly enjoyed this game.I have been removed from the gm boss fight over half a dozen times this week alone. Twice today. Going straight to orbit is a bad feeling. Leaving my 2 friends in there to struggle is worse. I have completed it multiple times and would be many more if not for this BS. I play wired on xfinity gig. I have done every thing that bungie recommended for this issue. Yet still no change. Enough is enough when will this be fixed or at a minimum address.

Same issues as all of you. Mostly it just flashes contacting destiny servers and then maybe will error code me or maybe clear out. I too have checked all router settings, tried connecting directly to modem, and just today had my isp come to my house and what do you know my internet is running fine. Plain simple truth is bumgie can't handle their game and shhiits on their players time investment. To me this is unacceptable and we should get refunds if the product doesn't work properly. Go duck yourself scumgie.

Same with me and Xbox Series X since BL. It happens way to frequently. Only happens/is an issue with D2. Because of my work I have an above the normal household connection and monitor it all the time thus I can proclaim with total confidence "NOT AN ISSUE ON MY SIDE. "! I can almost live with anteaters as I do come back to what ever I was running at the time. But for the Travelers sake stop taking my special and heavy ammo in the process! You know what its like to be running NF and opps anteater, wait a couple to few minutes to come back and I've been totally neutered and have to either wait for my super or just deal with adds and minor damage on Champions/bosses. Or the one that REALLY pisses me off. Soloing Presage or equiv and being at the boss and damn there's one of those damned anteaters and there goes my heavy. Yeah that's real fun. doing minor game and waiting around for my super to revive across three phases. Thanks for 'respecting' my time Bungo!

3 RepliesSame problem. I've been hoping Bungie would fix this problem since Beyond Light came out and they STILL refuse to acknowledge its an issue on their end. I'm in the same boat as you, the only thing Bungie keeps saying is it's the user's fault when it clearly isn't when it's so wide-spread.

I've had the same exact issue. Never once did I get code Anteater before Beyond Light and now its every single day I hop on. Its awful in GMs because I get sent back to orbit and my team wipes since I usually banner shield. I've missed out on about 10 GMs amount of loot because of this. I've also been anteater in crucible survival matches. Then it triggers error code Bat and I get booted from the match and banned from glory matches a few times. It's ruined my chances at ever getting DSC flawless done too. I just don't know what to do. I've reached out to my ISP and they report no problems. My connection is wired and I average 400 Mbps down so I shouldn't have any issues. I never have this problem in other games like Apex Legends or Rocket League. I just hope that bungie sees this thread and acknowledges the Anteaters as a common issue to resolve. I'm seriously losing motivation to do end game stuff if I get booted and grief my fireteam every damn day. Please fix this Bungie!

I keep getting anteatered out of grandmaster nightfalls. It seems almost random but tends to happen at 15-25 minutes. I played three hero nightfalls today no issues. But get anteatered out of the grandmaster. Had isp come out and everything is fine. Called Microsoft and adjusted a few settings but they believe the issue is with bungie. I switched from my series x to my one s and didn’t have any issues. Seems pretty strange.
