Edit: Please read entire post and edits before telling me how stupid I am lol. I said never SEEN...speaking for myself. Sunsetting supers has been a huge rejection already from the community. I would even argue more so than sunsetting weapons. The sunset of weapons is over with...no point in complaining anymore...however...On those post against sunsetting I did see people in favor of it or making a case for it. However with sunsetting supers...I have yet to see one post for it. Honestly BUNGIE don’t do it. The rationale and reasoning behind it is just not there. I think people are starting to realize that nothing is safe anymore. Exotics will be next to come I’m sure if Bungie really does Sunset supers. I hate to even consider it but if the super sunset comes...I really might be out of here. Luke Smith...I have no idea what you are thinking with this. It’s starting to really seem like you are trolling the community at this point. Please prove the haters wrong and come out and say you aren’t going to do this after all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with coming out and admitting a mistake. Sunsetting supers will be a huge mistake. After that it’s going to be exotics...sad times. It’s going to do more harm than any good. Don’t sunset supers. The community is making it extremely clear that this is a no no. Admit a mistake was made with this idea. It’s okay to be wrong. Listen to your Guardians. If you are even considering or pondering sunsetting exotics...stop...right now. Bad Idea. Edit: After waking up to a ton of comments it would appear I’m just an idiot and clearly haven’t seen the Forums unified. I have also found those that are for Sunsetting supers lol. Good discussion going on in some places. I would also like to plead ignorance when it comes to some topics you guys are saying were MORE unified in the forums. I had not seen these post as I just recently in the last few months really started using the forums. These topics you guys are citing I did not see. Also for those saying “oh just these forums are saying this” etc. Thats not true. Have been quite a few posts on Reddit as well as YouTube and streamers in agreement that this is a bad idea. I believe a few articles have been published as well reinforcing the same idea. 3rd and Final edit I swear: I am NOT opposed to tweaking the existing light subclasses and setting them up like the Stasis subclass. I am all about adding customization and more options for people. No issues there.
