A question for the guitar enthusiasts:
I’m thinking on getting either a new guitar or a new amp. Both of them are from ‘03. They preform fine. However:
-my amp has a ton is static (fender frontman)
-I’d like to get a guitar more for playing metal (I have a Stratocaster)

I agree with man_of_war_r2. If the pickups on your git are ok, I would personally invest in an amp.
