Shotguns are overused, overperforming, and in the case of Felwinters, overpowered. Shotguns were a go to choice for many players even before the nerfs to snipers and fusions. While they are usable, they are not fun to use. With snipers, one SMG bullet from across the map will send your reticle to the sky box. And since they nerfed the aim assist theres no leeway. Trying to play aggressively will only get you killed. With snipers now there seems to be only one playstyle: sit in the back and hardscope. Fun. Fusions are just shotguns with a wind up, which makes them objectively worse. Shotguns are too easy to use for how powerful they are. They fit into almost any loadout way too well, and because of the close range nature of almost all pvp maps, there's never a reason to swap. But they are too inconsistent to nerf.
Revert the sniper flinch nerf and the fusion rifle nerf. Make sure quickdraw never appears on a shotgun again.

They need a handling cap - just a QD nerf would do little as Cammy cakes made clear in a video on it. They need to restore the Special competition - undo Sniper nerf, restore Backup Planbbut undo the range buff, buff Sidearms some. They need to fix the ammo economy so they can't be mained. Opening shot needs to be looked at too. When it's near 1 in 4 of all kills they should tackle the issue. They highlight Felwinters but that just obscures the real issues. When that's nerfed it'll just be business as usual - Astral Horizon, CQC, etc. Nothing will have been fixed. NOTHING.
