Simple post. For those who don't know Celerity is the unique perk for trials weapons that increases your handling when you are that last living member of your fireteam (reduced flinch, increased reload speed, increased target acquisition). Obviously it is a very situational perk that comes in handy only in Competitive or Trials and Nightfalls or Hunts. Rather than JUST allowing the lackluster adept mods to be equipped, there should be a special perk much like our old D1 raid weapons which would make trials grinding not just possibly valuable to PvP players but PvE players as well even if they don't get the God Roll that week a certain weapon is available. Thoughts?

Or can celerity just be removed period?

Agreed. I also think the adept drops should be curated rolls. It’s terrible getting a totally useless adept, especially if you can’t grind flawless (most players can’t even get flawless). I think this might actually increase players rather than reduce them as so many players don’t even see the push for flawless as worthwhile due to the adept potentially being sharded anyway.

Lol got a messenger with rapid hit and Celery. Celery doesn't even do anything if you have rapid hit.

How about Moving Target instead?

I don't even play trials and it seems obvious that it should be
-
Celerity should definitely be an intrinsic perk, it used to be that way in D1 and everyone loved it
-
Theres no good reason it shouldn't be. I'm not going to use a weapon with such situational value, because then it's just a waste of a perk.

I agree

At least you CAN get adept weapons. I’m sure they’ll eventually add it anyway. Bungie’s already on magma and are boiling over stuff, especially trials. They’re probably already on the way with the trials refresh next season.
