As has been pointed out numerous times in the forums and on Reddit, when a user attempts to use a DualSense controller with Destiny 2 on PC, the game does not recognize any inputs from the device.
It's possible to use the controller as an x input device by using steam's built-in support, but Destiny 2 will then recognize it as an Xbox controller and show Xbox icons in the game. Also, rumble, touchpad, built-in light bar, all of these things do not work when you use this method.
Even though this issue has been reported numerous times, I still don't see that Bungie's even tracking it or have it on the radar as an issue. it can't be that difficult to implement considering they already have proper support added to the game for PlayStation 5. Just port that over to PC.
Can we please get some feedback as to whether or not proper support for this controller will be added to the PC version of Destiny 2? If so, is there an estimated ETA?
Thank you.
