We are halfway through the Switches life cycle, and have an understanding of what the device is capable of.
There is no doubt that the console could handle it locked at 30fps in 720p handheld, and possibly 1080p docked.
The game itself isn’t very graphic intensive, and the systems Internet capabilities are much better then they were at launch.
Any input, or comments?

I doubt Bungie is capable of porting the game from CISC-based devices (PC, PS, Xbox) to a RISC-based device (Switch).

The size alone of the game is a problem. Everyone would be forced to buy a micro card exclusively for this game. Then a matter of voice chat and party invites.....

The Switch wouldn't handle this game even with reduced graphics. There's rumors of a Switch Pro coming this year so there's still a chance D2 will be on a Nintendo platform.
