Now you may have read the title and assumed that I was talking about Destiny 3, you are wrong. Instead I have a different idea.. I have had an idea for a new spinoff Destiny game, one not related to us or our story, but a game that allows us to relive and play through some of the most important events in Destiny's lore. I thought about being able to play through events and lives of different characters, both from the Light and dark. Starting off with the beginning, the events of Fundament, The Hive, and Oryx's rise to power. Allowing us to play as Young Oryx (Aurash) and letting us play through his life. He could also play as Crota, and play through the events of his life, conquering worlds and destroying civilizations. Then, once we play through those events, or play as a character, we could play as the Vex, and we could finally learn more about them. [spoiler]I barely know anything about the Vex...[/spoiler] We could then cut back to the Eliksni, and play as characters such as Eramis, Taniks, Skolas, or Variks, and witness what happened to their people, and play throughout Eliksni histrory. Once we have played as the Eliksni, we could play as the Cabal and characters like Calus, Gary, Caiatl, and play through the events of the Cabal Empire. Then we could Arrive at the Golden Age, playing as characters from humanity, facing the struggles of colonizing different planets, discovering the Vex, and creating the Warminds. We could live through the collapse, playing as various characters, which I have yet to think of, or who could be significant at the time. Rasputin maybe? Then, the dark age. We could witness the arrival of different enemy races, we could play as former warlords Shaxx and Felwinter, we could play as the Iron lords, living through these characters lives and important events from them. Then we could play as other notable risen from around the same time, Saint-14, Osiris, Zavala, Ikora, Cayde, Eris, Toland, and we could play through their lives, before they were resurrected by the Travler. I can also think of a menu, that would allow us to select The Light or The Darkness, and then a specific character or time, to relive and play as them. Or, you could play it all at once in chronological order, playing through every event, character, and time available, almost like a giant story. I don't want to keep this going on forever, so I'll end it here, keep in mind this is just a idea, so there is obviously a lot of high hopes and wishful thinking. But I do feel like it would be a great game for Lore nerds, or players who just want to witness something they hear about constantly.
