My group has been wanting to get back into Destiny 2. The game works for everyone else but for me for some reason it doesnt work. I get the game to turn on, and every single time I get to guardian select that game breaks down, it asks me to Verify the Integrity of the Game Files in Steam and try again. But, no matter how many times I do this, nothing works.
Reinstalled Destiny 2 - same problem
Reinstalled Steam - same problem
Linked to a different steam account - same problem
Reset Computer and did hard Windows Reinstall - same problem
I just want to talk to someone who can work me through this problem because this is a game I spent money on and I cant even fkn play it.
I have a Lenovo Legion laptop - 2060 6gb, 16gb ram, i7 processor.
Also, there was one time I was able to get into the settings screen at least, and the game was moving around at 15 FPS and saying that I only have 218mb of VRAM. Thats not possible so it might be pulling from the integrated graphics but I dont know. This is extremely frustrating and I just wanna play with my buddies.
Please someone help with this! I have already looked around for solutions, one of which is to delete the steam_appid.txt file but I dont even have that in my program files ANYWHERE.
Please help, you all are amazing if you can get this thing working for me. Because I want to play tonight.
DxDiag: • To find this information, press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box, enter this command “dxdiag”, no quotation marks. • Click on “save all information”. • Copy text from saved file to preferred third-party text dump website (i.e. PasteBin, DumpTxt) and share link here
