I am not necessarily leaving destiny but I am however getting bored of the game for now so I'm looking for other games to play any recommendations?

i’ve been having a lot of fun in warzone and modern warfare
-
I have a few: (separated by type) RTS: Hearts Of Iton 4 (Pain in the ass to learn but fun once you figure it out), Age Of empires 2 (truly a classic), Star Wars Empire at war (one of the best Star Wars games to date) Simulation games: Stardew Valley (Super simple and relaxing to play), Elderscrolls 2: Daggerfall (One Of the best fantasy sim RPGs to date, I recommend the unreal engine port if you don’t want to deal with classic Bethesda) FPS: CoD Black ops 1&2 (Two amazing campaigns plus some good multiplayer if you have friends who play and use a private lobby), borderlands 2 (Still pretty good, and it’s not very memory heavy so it’s easy to run on any PC), Halo MCC (It finally-Blam!-ing works so you don’t need a super computer to run it), battlefield 4 (really good multiplayer, and the campaign is Okay.) Retro styled: Shovel Knight (Really Good game in general), terraria (One Of the best games for both casual and hardcore play), Minecraft (It’s minecraft, shouldn’t need more to explain it than that.) RPG: KOTOR 1&2 (Get mods for 1, its jenky as hell without them, 2 doesn’t need them but thy do make it more interesting), Morrowind (The only Bethesda game that works out of the box without mods.), Enderall (Not a classic RPG, but it is one hell of a ride) Adventure: Skyrim (I hate this game because once you start going in depth to it, it only takes a couple hours of digging to reach the bottom, still very fun.), Witcher 1,2,&3 (Some Of the best games to have the pseudo RPG style.), Cyberpunk 2077 (Bugs aren’t honestly that big of a game killer, though they do change the tone slightly as you will be giggling like a madman at some of them.), Uncharted series (Never personally liked this series but it’s still really good), Last Of Us 1&2 (1 is the better story wise but 2 plays a lot better thanks to better combat, stealth is still dumb though.) Fighting: Street fighter series (A classic), Dead or alive (Tig Biddies and shirtless dudes, a very decent fighting game otherwise <Lots Of DLC nonsense>), Deadliest Warrior (Older game, but it stands up as a great party game to play with friends on or offline.), Persona 4 arena (Hey look, a bunch of characters you like beating the hell out of each other for barely any reason. Still, a great fighting game with some cool gimmicks) Soulslike: Dark souls 1,2,&3 (One and three are the most balanced but 2 is really fun regardless), Bloodborne (It’s still one of the best games of the decade), demon souls ( under-appreciated in its original release, but remaster brings it back to its glory), nier automata (Questioning why I put this here instead of action, but whatever, it’s good.) Plus more I can’t recall or think of a genre for (Namely Dragons Dogma, Which is super good).

Rootin Tootin Cowboy Shooting 2 or Persona 4 Golden

Titanfall 2 if you enjoy a good FPS and especially if you enjoy huge fricking battlemechs who are also quite wholesome. If you enjoy metroidvanias as well as a killer soundtrack I cannot recommend Ori and the Will of the Wisps enough. Seriously, the music pierces your soul. And if you love Roguelikes with a vining soundtrack then Risk of Rain 2 is the game for you

Halo mcc is a good game to try out. Or titanfall 2
-
Halo master chief collection get reach & odst Lego star wars the complete saga Battle front 1-2 (og version) Battle front 2 (2017) The force unleashed 1-2 Titan fall 2 Knights of the old republic 1-2 Call of duty black ops 1-2

Suikoden II for the PS1 👌🏻

Outward. It starts out fun but difficult for an RPG - ok not difficult per se, just unintuitive because it deliberately drops a lot of standard RPG stuff, like fast travelling, quest markers and manual saves. I stopped gaming the other month for personal reasons but now I’ve started again and I haven’t gotten around to firing it up, but I should. It’s the kind of thing you can (and sort of have to) sink hours and hours into to get full enjoyment of. What Remains of Edith Finch. Cannot rate this enough, if you’re into interactive-story kinds of games then this is a no-brainer. Just play it, it’s amazing.

Mount and Blade: Warband

A fun game that changes pace of FPS is Men of War Assault Squad 2, if you on pc idk how it is on console, but it’s a fun strategy game and just pretty relaxing
-
Duel monsters. It's an ancient Egyptian card game. Ancient Egyptians loved it.

Edited by michael: 1/10/2021 10:35:46 AMCant go wrong with dark souls 3. I recently played through the remakes of the resident evil games, I had never played the originals as a kid, and they were a lot of fun. However I would not buy unless you get a good sale, especially for 3. They are not worth full price. But if you see them on sale for 50% or even 30% off you can't pass that up. Great experiences as far as story games go.

I discovered a game called: Generation Zero. The main tags I have come up with are: Sweden, guns, robots, 1981, and bicycles. Enjoy.

Edited by Mango Flavored Chicken: 1/9/2021 6:13:59 AMBorderlands Bioshock Cod DOOM I swear I didn’t just read off my play history

Bioshock 1,2, Infinite These games a masterpieces that take time to understand and they have so many hidden meanings.

Similiar to Destiny I would recommend Borderlands. 2 especially if you haven't played any. BL3 is fun for its gameplay but the story is god damn atrocious. Indie game recommends are Deep Rock Galactic and Synthetik. RPG games New Vegas and Divinity Original Sin 2.

Lately I’ve been jumping between Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered, and One Step From Eden. All great games, I wholeheartedly recommend all three!
