Both me and my be friend own D1. Vanilla D1 with all the additional content purchased a la carte. I own disk. He owns Digital. However he deleted his downloaded version and Destiny is not in playstation store anymore. They only sell Destiny - the collection. So it is not the same game that either of us own. When I put my original d1 disk in my PS4 pro it says disk not recognized... Now before anyone goes trying to tell me there's something wrong with my disk, I have my old ps4 and it recognized the disk as Destiny. I don't play on that console anymore it is in a different room and it's just there for entertainment like movies, hulu/netflix, whatever. My library on my ps4 pro shows i own all the dlcs rise of iron, taken king, etc but if I go to them it prompts me to buy Destiny - the collection for $59.99. It seems like vanilla destiny is gone and has been replaced by this. I feel like we deserve the license for this BECAUSE WE ALREADY OWN IT! Someone please tell me how to get the updated version of the game we already own. Please and thank you.

Hi there. Bungie does not sell the game directly to players nor has replacement license keys. Those are provided through retailers, which in your case is Playstation. You can try restoring your licenses to see if that makes the disk work again, otherwise you should contact Playstation Support for assistance since D1 is now a digital-only game.
