I think one glaring issue in Destiny 2 that majority notice is that you can get the same weapons from Zavala, shaxx, & the gunsmith, because recently; all the weapons were blended into a single loot economy. While some may find it ok, I don’t think that’s how it should be. So here’s what I’d suggest. [b][u]Zavala[/u][/b]: Unique pursuit weapon | 4 new or reprised weapons. Only weapons and armor found for its own playlist. [b][u]Shaxx[/u][/b]: Unique pursuit weapon | 4 new or reprised weapons. Only weapons and armor found for its own playlist. [b][u]Drifter[/u][/b]: Unique pursuit weapon | 4 new or reprised weapons. Only weapons and armor found for its own playlist. Gunsmith: Rotating daily weapons. Unlisted weapons such as, Veist, SUROS, Häkke, Omolon, etc. [b][u]Factions[/u][/b]: Picking up a prime engrams should give players the opportunity to turn them into whatever faction vendor they choose (I.e; Dead orbit, FWC, New Monarchy) for a chance to earn their reprised weapons, ornaments, shaders, etc. you don’t have to bring back the token system for them specifically, but there’s another way to make them useful. [u][b]World Loot[/b][/u]: Completing open world activists, or killing combatants should drop loot specific to That Planet (I.e; Europa’s open world mini bosses). ALL planetary loot needs to be reprised, or given New Weapons & armor. If the content still exists, it should be relevant. [u][b]Dungeons[/b][/u]: “Shattered Throne” NEEDs it’s own New unique armor set & loot within it. In addition to being a pinnacle activity. Not dreaming city loot, new loot. “Pit Of Heresy” NEEDs it’s own New unique armor set & loot within it. In addition to being a pinnacle activity. Not moon loot, new loot. Prophecy NEEDs Trials of the nine weapons ONLY. No Ikelos Weapons, or the Daito armorset. Relocate these items into the gunsmith loot pool. The only weapons that should drop from this activity are reprised Trials of the Nine Weapons, & armor. In addition to All The Ornaments. Tie the ornaments to activities you complete, in your triumph book. Doing certain activities in this will unlock the armor shaders, & ornament. Beating the final boss has a chance to drop Honors of the Nine, shader. All of these activities are replayable a countless amount of times. You may only earn pinnacle loot on the first run. I’ll be adding more to this list and adjusting them as much feedback comes in. But I think this is a good start.
