Hey Bungie, Short and sweet. I love the look of Hawkmoon and Trustee has been a lot of fun to play with. I think this is a great progression path we could see Bows take in Destiny 2. Bows are slower weapons and struggle sometimes to compete with well rolled SMGs and hand cannons for add-clear, and obviously don't deal the damage necessary to compete with shotguns and snipers. A trait [i]like[/i] Redirection or Paracausal Shot would be a great boost for a ritual or exotic bow, rewarding consistent, carefully placed shots and allowing the bow to somewhat double as a special weapon/heavy unit killer. One possible way to implement this, if not as a ritual or legendary weapon perk, would be as a Catalyst for Wish-Ender. I would suggest a catalyst with the following: 1. Wish-Ender, a piercing weapon, now has Shield-Piercing, bypasses combatant defenses, and gains a bonus to damage against Barrier Champions. 2. An additional trait that either rewards precision hits with a much stronger, high-damage arrow comparable to a sniper round, or allows the bow to penetrate targets additional times based on health bar "color". Essentially, this would allow it to perform like a special weapon against orange and boss/yellow targets, while maintaining the benefit of being a Primary ammo weapon, and with its slow draw time, would still maintain a balance preventing it from competing with weapons designed with boss DPS in mind.
