The new moon dips below the horizon and the doors to the mansion seal once more. Those still within are suddenly taken by darkness and begin to fall through the abyss. Eventually their descent slows to a stop and their eyes slowly adjust to their new surroundings.
An immense cavern and a sea untouched by the sun. Patches of bioluminescent mold twinkle like stars upon the stone ceiling far above as
waves lap against beaches of black sand and jagged spires of obsidian below. A great stone bridge reaches out to a circular structure off the coast, both alit by floating wisps of dim violet flame. From the depths rise four great columns that curve inward like the claws of a massive beast.
Four chains descend from where the claws meet through a circular hole in the floor and into the dark waters below, a pedestal with a bloody spike rising beside it. Around the hole are three figures seemingly frozen in time. They all bear the gray blue skin, silver hair, sleek black leathers, and red eyes of Drow, Dark Elves from the realm beneath the surface world.
The first is a man ready for battle, glaring into the depths of the hole with sword and shield in hand. The next, another man, his hand wrapped and bleeding, face contorted in fear and pain as he rests against the pedestal. The last is a woman knelt to the floor, a look of curiosity upon her face as she examines several small shards of black glass that float above her outstretched hand...
This is very overdue, but life happened, Horsemen stuff, lack of motivation, baking 30 loaves of bread and like 3 dozen cookies to give to people...
Anyway, this takes place after the last part and is a Public Event. Everybody's here! Unless you choose not to be, I'm not yer mum.
Now what do?
~Update~
As Shamrock reaches for the shards, they release a pulse of energy that briefly sends the world into darkness. Technology fails, magic fades, light is snuffed out, and life ends. Yet a moment later everything slowly recovers, including the flow of time.
The three Drow rise with a start, snarl, and ready themselves for battle as the chains rise from the hole and stone begins to fall into the sea from above.

I read two chains instead of four.
