Glad we’re getting an update, hopefully it’ll smooth things out. Truthfully I haven’t played since November. Haven’t even touched the dlc. Voice change, didn’t like, can move past. Sun setting and caps on my favorite weapons that I just got the previous season, beyond frustrating, but I can even move past that. Erasing things from my inventory that I kept purposely, annoying, can move past. Changing my guardians face? Haven’t been able to move past it. I know not everyone cares about the face of their guardian, but character attachment is what drives me to play a game and really feel connected to the story. I’m honestly fine with their being new faces, but I’m not fine with mine having been changed. I’m sure we can have the new and the previous presets. I’m gonna start playing again simply on the grounds of I put good money into this, and tbh I miss it. But having my helmet on 24/7, and seeing a different character in cutscenes is a steep and heavy blow to my motivation to play, and my love for the game. I know this is a lesser talked about issue, but I hope Bungie sees this percentage of players who made their guardians personable to them. Playing since 2017, same warlock, and now it’s like a huge detachment. I even had to have one of my favorite cutscenes saved with a face I didn’t make (because I replayed Shadowkeep) and it’s really disheartening. Give Legacy guardians their old faces back, please. (and maybe the voices too). Because I miss playing, and it’s just not the same for someone who’s been with the game since the beginning, with my character since the beginning.
