So if I stole people’s teeth and carried them around would I get more powerful? Is that why the Tooth Fairy is so powerful? Is Xivu Arath the Tooth Fairy?

1 ReplyI think it’s Terry Pratchett’s ‘Hog Father’ which covers this idea quite nicely. Basically an assassin has to try and kill their version of Father Christmas, he does this by breaking into the Tooth Fairies’ vault and using the teeth to do some magic (something about having a part of someone lets you control them?) to stop people believing in Christmas. Or in this case the Hog Father.
