I've came back after a few years and I have a lot of questions.
Hi there, I recently came back to Destiny 2 (I left before DLC so I have no DLC nor the intention to get some), after a few years when I played through Vanilla. I've come back and I'm very confused, I'm 901 power because I'm missing a power weapon and leggings that aren't 0. I have no power weapon, nor do I know how to get one. I don't know how to get leggings that are 1050 like everything else. I have no currency to purchase these with, nor do I have the gunsmith materials (or the legendary, rare, exotic items to create those) to grab leggings from the collection. I cannot play anything, including the New Light campaign because every single enemy and player are immune to anything I attempt. I'd really like to jump back in to Destiny 2 and I've been really excited, but I just don't know what to do. Can someone please help me out?

In all honesty, based on how little of the game you have played on your Titan; your best bet is to simply make a new character. You can make a new Titan, or one of the other classes. That way you will be starting with a full set of gear, and you can go through all of the New Light quests as normal. Your current Titan has no campaign completions, as you’ve only played a handful of missions, so you really lose nothing by starting fresh. And starting a new character means that you’ll be given all the tutorials, to help you understand the game modes and mechanics along the way.
