No? Just me?... yeea that's true.
But for real, this way of content release is probably easy to make, but the story suffers.
lore is great but the hypothetical story is far greater than any shitty season can hold.
I hate that we spent years waiting for The Darkness and then it shows up and we're all cool, just chilling as it does whatever and gives us power. And the Traveler doesn't seem to mind. The more time goes on the more I wish we had the original planned Traveler is a Vex terraforming machine and yeah Rasputin attacked it. At least the Traveller bring us back to life by manipulating time makes sense and that's why we're paracausal. It's not a bad story but man, it feels like a DIFFERENT story.

Edited by ARMY_boy_PR: 12/3/2020 6:25:42 PMI disagree, the storyline content has been more developed and concise than before. Aramis was a small bady leading to the real issue which was dealt with in the raid. The Bray story line is well put together and how they are developing The Crow is landing decently. I would love to do more missions with him though.

Just you

yes just you this is the best time for story and lore we've had in years

This is prob one of the best expansions we’ve had for in game storytelling. I haven’t had to explain anything to my friends. The narrative was easy enough for them to follow and they even got pretty hyped when they realized Ana and Elsie are sisters, discovered the Clovis head, etc. I’d say if there’s any feedback bungie should take, it’s to do more storytelling like Beyond Light. You’re never gonna get all the lore in game, that just wouldn’t make sense. Where would they find time/justification to give us an in game story of how banshee became banshee? Or how Clovis was a full on mad scientist. There is no time. That’s why it’s lore. In game storytelling is for what’s happening in the present, lore is for what’s happened in the past.
