Old Xbox account to new
Hello my fellow guardian I have a question. I have an old account that I used for destiny 1 and the majority of destiny 2 but it has my moms name on it as it used to be a shared account with my siblings now my brother uses it for different games as he got a new console so I was wondering if I could link a new Xbox account to my bungie profile so I can play the game for more than an hour a day by the way am posting from different account

You can unlink the Xbox account and link another one, you would just need to log onto your Bungie account using a different verification method (Twitch, Steam, etc.) go into your profile, unlink the account you don't want and then link the new one. However, Bungie does not support the transfer of data between accounts, and since save data is linked to the platform accounts, not Bungie accounts, you would lose all progress you've made with the Xbox profile you're currently using.
