Xur Exotic Cypher quest doesn't work
Last week I picked up the quest and did 21 activities. Once I turned it in I got no exotic cypher anywhere. Not in my inventory, postmaster or vault. Note that I do not have an exotic cypher in my inventory to begin with.
I'm gonna try and do it again this week but I feel like this is a bug and that's really annoying because exotic cypher is really hard to come by...

I have the same problem. Does anyone know if bungie is aware of this issue? I think once the issue has been fix we should at least get 1 cipher. I should of gotten 3 by now.

Exact same problem here, no Cypher in my inventory and when I turned in the quest he didn't give a reward at all. This was supposed to be my Cypher for anarchy now I need to wait another week bogus.

Yeah, I have the same issue. I spent my exotic cipher on an item before even picking up the quest. I’ve been able to pick up the quest every other week, and each time I go to see Xur, it takes the quest away and leaves me without a cipher. I don’t have one in my inventory, the monument can attest to that, so I have no clue what’s going on. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into an overlooked bug like often is the case, this is really ruining exotic hunting for me and my clan mates.

I had one exotic cypher in my inventory before handing in the quest to him, but I made sure I spent my cypher first before redeeming the quest. I think some people said the cypher just disappears if you redeem the quest while already having a cypher prior to doing so. I did receive my new cypher though, so I can confirm it worked for me.

I have the same problem. I had the Xenology quest on my Warlock. I took my Titan to Xur and the quest completed. No Exotic Cipher in either inventory or lost packages. Can't get a new quest from Xur either.
