I was really disappointed that today's hotfix did not fix the cutscene fps issue for Win 7 (and a some Win10) users. Logged in for the first time today after last week and had to skip the seasonal intro cutscene. Not gonna lie, this really sucks to be left behind. We've gotten replies saying "we're investigating" and a bunch of us provided our dxdiag info but I would really appreciate any sort of update. Is there any hope to fix this anytime soon? Is this even any sort of priority? Am I just supposed to skip the scenes and play like that? because it totally kills the experience to switch to youtube and play a cutscene after skipping it and that's why I haven't even gotten to do the first Europa mission. I know there's lots of others in the same boat. I work in customer service so believe me, I know that reps themselves are often left in the dark and it sucks for them too. So please, I beg of you Bungie, can anyone help us out? I really want to catch up and play all the dlc and seasonal content, but I want to play it as intended, without any lame workarounds. I did pay for it after all. But if there’s no fix coming soon, at least let us know so I can play it with skipping the scenes, I figure a sub par experience is still better than none at all, I just need to know so I can make an informed choice. Also for those who will say JuSt UpGrAdE To WiNdoWs 10, its not that easy, a lot of us, myself included have our reasons, i personally needed to wait til July of next year because I was waiting for a license for another program to expire before upgrading. Finally, I know its worked for some to download the k lite mega codec pack, didn't work for me. I also tried turning off the shader cache in the Nvidia 3d settings and that didn't work either.
