I have been a forum member for almost 17 years. Bungie has never created something this stupid. Stasis might be the worst FPS mechanic ever invented.

I really like this dlc. I think it's very well done and the story is way deeper than a lot of expansions before. And think about this: This forum is overall heavily negative and still your poll currently has more "yes" than "no". That's got to be a sign.

Best, most challenging campaign we've had in years, not to mention there's more stuff on the way, new weapons, armour, raid, lore, location, etc. Lots of people still whining about sunsetting and locations being removed, but let's be honest, do we really miss Mercury or titan or io? It would be impossible for bungie to release new and interesting incentives to play games if everyone has all their top tier weapons from year 1 or 2. They did it in d1 and taken king was amazing, so just hope for it to be similar to that. Stasis is cool and really made me think tactically during boss fights, dodging in and out of cover, conserving ammo, etc. It's a new change of pace and I love it!

Honestly, no.

It’s subjective. A majority of the posts here are people complaining about every single little insignificant detail, so it’s hard to grasp at the broader image. I personally think it was worth it! I’ve been having a lot of fun so far, especially from the lore perspective.

It’s reinvigorated my urge to play Destiny. I’d say it’s worth my guy.

Depends on your definition of "worth".

If you like destiny 2 and enjoy playing it then yes. If you like destiny 2 but haven’t been happy with recent seasons content then wait till it’s on sale. If you like destiny 1 and want this to be a return to form then don’t buy it.
