Like how back before forsaken Alot of people would avoid fully upgrading the golden gun subclass so they could have 3 shots and more time instead of 6 shot with short time...
My point is will it be possible to completely avoid using and interacting with the darkness...
Lore wise it makes perfect sense to have a choice but gameplay wise I think your going to force us the use them even if I completely avoid unlocking them next dlc it will be forced into my inventory fully upgraded...
Let us choose and have an up side and down side to are character choices.

You waste 60 dollars

The plot will advance as Bungie wants it, regardless of what you do. If you want your actions to actually affect the plot, go play something like Fallout: New Vegas.
-
Then you aren’t using the DLC’s main selling point.
-
There will 100% be no consequences to not using stasis after it's been forced on you in the story. Character choice? Role-playing? LOL. Not happening here.
-
Needless to say, I sent the whole shipment back to Fenchurch...
-
I...just don't understand...why you would want the ability to avoid new content for your character...
-
In PvP? Youre likely to be stomped. PvE, i don't think you can allow yourself not to use them, after all the main subclases looks like they're not getting in line with the new power's power, for now.

You can choose not to use stasis after the campaign , but yeah it will be forced on you in the story. You could look at it has our guardian is the only one who can not be corrupted by the darkness and can bend it to our will to use it for good I mean the Hive and Taken use light powers Arc Solar and Void for evil ,we will use Stasis for good

Edited by mikeyrox1234: 11/8/2020 10:43:24 PMExo Stranger said it herself... “Stasis is a tool that the Vanguard has overlooked. We have to use it but use it for good”... or something like that 😆 Its all about how YOU use the tool.

Nothing happens.

You will be forced to unlock the subclasses during the campaign, but after you unlock them there is no requirement for you to use it unless a quest/bounty/objective calls for stasis kills or freezing enemies or something along those lines.
-
The Drifter will lose all respect for you.

You become Non Binary.
