I've played many hours on destiny on console before making the switch to PC earlier this year, I was enjoying the game beyond other games from my library. I have pre ordered Beyond light I was excited for the most recent seasons, then when logging into steam I'm hit with an account ban (10/29/2020). I haven't had even a suspension or experienced cheaters, to my knowledge I've never been in a fireteam with players who have cheated it makes no sense to me. I have read the code of conduct and while I have used strong language I don't actively try to go around the filters, I don't use third party software that would interact with destiny besides discord and DIM. I have left third party applications like Ds4windows (for when I play forza) open but I it shouldn't have affected the files for destiny since I use Mouse/key when playing. It surprises me to see that I'm banned when I haven't had any toxic behavior, engaged in exploits/cheats or manipulated any of the games files. I hope this can be reversed as I have only enjoyed playing the game till this point and had planned on continue putting hours into the new dlc when it arrives.
