Great, you're reworking Hand Cannons, but...

Since I begun playing Destiny I've always LOVED the idea of a Hand Cannon, it's basically a high caliber pistol that makes you feel like a badass cowboy, being able to kill a guardian in only 3 shots. Ive watched clip after clip of streamers and community members alike dominating the field with nothing but an Ace of Spades or Thorn on PC, but when I go onto console and test out my favorite Hand Cannons in the crucible, my experience becomes drastically different (no, I'm nowhere near a PvP god with a Hand Cannon, and no this isn't about skill). What I have come to notice is that since the beginning, both the visual recoil intensity, and bloom of each shot is SEVERELY different than that of a Hand Cannon on PC, it's a completely different weapon between platforms. I believe one of the biggest reasons Hand Cannons see so little use by the general console population is simply because there are much easier options to use, which leads to things like 600rpm Adaptive Frame Auto Rifles taking over the meta, and becoming so much of a problem they needed to be toned down again. While the nerf to the Adaptive Archetype is very much needed, what if in addition other types of weapons were changed to be made more usable, giving guardians a much wider variety of options to choose from when building their arsenal. By toning down the recoil of a console Hand Cannon, while also balancing it by lowering the aim assist, this could possibly open up entire play styles to the XB1/PSN guardians, that have been smothered by things like SUROS Regime, Gnawing Hunger, Forward Path, and other 600 rpm Autos. I believe this is a much needed positive change that would greatly improve the crucible experience for the average guardian, and Im sure there have been many ideas like this in the past. Hopefully the tiny TINY chance this can be taken into consideration after the new Hand Cannon rework is released, and hopefully this idea can gain traction on these forums or reddit or twitter or something, Im curious to see what, if anything, the community has to say about this. Hope to see everyone in Beyond Light, Cheers!
