Postmaster, Overabundance, and item management

To me this is one of the biggest problems with Destiny 2. It takes a lifetime to delete things I don't care about, when I complete high end pinnacle content I fill my postmaster in 2 runs and am having exotics and ascendant shards pushed from my postmaster by blue weapons. An option to turn on that autodeletes blues would be a HUGE quality of life improvement. As well as and option to mass delete items, I spend half of my time in Destiny deleting items I don't want or need. I want to shoot things, not spend hours sorting. Please, please, please resolve this issue. An expansion of the postmaster would be nice, but if these other options were in place it wouldn't be as big of an issue. The time to delete Umbral Engrams this season is crazy, and you collect them at such high volume often the postmaster is full of them. I was saving an item to open in postmaster, ran a single GM nightfall and lost all the items I hadn't checked yet. So far this has cost me 4 exotic engrams, and I didn't even get the chance to fix it. Item management in this game is a nightmare.

  • I've had the same experience. Lost a stack of shards after the double farming bonanza to a row of blues. Hours of grinding lost because you have a feature that is an awesome idea (post master so you don't panic about missing that one engram falling off the ledge of an activity) but poorly executed with mismatched priorities and lack of control. We can travel across the solar system, so can't we please manage blue trash?
