So, I've recently completed the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield, and thought to share my experiences thus far.
"Completed" here means, I've completed all stories, completed the Crown Dex, and played through the Galar Star Tournament with each partner once.
I haven't collected all Legendaries via the Adventures yet, but I've done enough of them.
In all honesty, the DLC is pushing Gen 8 to be one of my favourite Gens.
Crown Tundra's stories were short, but great. Hunting mysteries gave it a cool touch.
The DLC also added a ton of endgame stuff, more available than in any other Gen. There's always stuff to do if you want.
The Star Tournament is a great addition (and a good way to make money) and the interactions between all the people are great. Here I think they missed the chance to introduce the Version exclusive Gym Leaders to the other Version. I would like to challenge them too.
They also added a lot of new (old) Pokémon, and I'm happy to be able to play with Absol again.
But this is the point that also irks me most. With two DLC, they had the opportunity to not just add Pokémon of past Generations, but also more new Galar Pokémon. And of those, there are way too few. I would've liked to see more completely new Pokémon. Or Galar versions of old ones.
What do you think about the DLC? Are you happy with the content offered? Did you like the setting and the characters?
Let me know.

I still need to make it to the first gym leader in the main game.. I do plan to get through the game and its dlcs eventually though, and I'm happy to hear all the good feedback about this generation.
