Do we know what The Void looks like?
Or even have any hints?
I like the Void a lot by its concept and have my own mental picture of it, but I’m wondering if there is official lore to the way it looks.

It is the folly of the simple mind, unable to perceive the brilliant richness of nothingness. The Void is not only the absence of Light, but Dark. To harness the Void is to enter a state of tranquility, free from the clatter of ordinary matter. Wear this Veil and feel the Void. It is not a force of malice, no more charitable or heinous than gravity. The Void is a tool to be wielded by the patient, nothing more and nothing less. If you respect the Void, then one day you too shall step upon this pristine realm." —Unknown Voidwalker
It’s interesting to go through the lore because there are two types of “Void”. That used in the sense of an empty space and that used to describe The Void. Note how in the lore you can tell the difference through the capitalisation of the V in The Void as used in the Apotheosis Veil lore tab. Regardless, The Void seems to be an entity and a place. A place of power. Where we draw truths from and thrust them into reality in balls or tears of matter or tethering bolts to grapple our enemies to the Void or walls of defence to keep those out. Shard of the Traveler (Voidwalker) transcript:
Tyra Karn: What is the void? When you walk it, what is there to experience, as there is nothing to be seen in it? The vacuum between the stars. The smell of rot. The taste of metal. The deafening roar that can only be heard when it is truly silent. The shamans of the old world were said to have covered their eyes so they could see the dead. I believe these men and women were the first to discover the power of the Void, and in the Traveler's light we have succeeded in refining their methods, in charting the courses they pioneered. When you blink, you'll know the way.
Seek out New Death bounty flavour text:
"The Void does not play favorites; it comes for you all." —Ikora Rey
Purple People Eater bounty flavour text:
"The Void is never satisified." —Toland, the Shattered
Cold Embrace bounty flavour text:
”I've never quite understood how something could be between light and dark. You're either one or the other. Preferably light." —Eva Levante
The reason I bring these up is to show how it doesn’t care. The Void is not necessarily good. Hence why the enemies of humanity pull from it. It is an ever hungering source of power; and we feed it to keep use its power.
